Ekalavya Foundation was established in 2006 by eminent social worker Shri. P. Venu Gopal Reddy with a view to help marginalized sections of the society to be self-reliant. Beginning with Tribal communities in Adilabad district, pioneering work has been done in the fields of Education, Health, Livelihoods and Agriculture activities. The villagers are made partners in conception, planning and execution of activities for sustainability. Today Ekalavya Foundation activities are spanned over 14 districts of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

More than 5000 farmers and 6000 students impacted every year by Ekalavya Foundation. Teams organised project wise with regular reporting to leadership at cluster and HO level. The foundation has approximately 220 employees and 1000+ volunteers serving people through various projects in Agriculture, Education, Tribal Development, Natural Resource Management, etc.
