MarkFed has allotted minimum Support Price (MSP) centre to Kumaram Bheem Federation, Indervelly. Establishment of fertilizer shop to sell seeds, fertilizers and insecticides at affordable rates. Supply of agri inputs @ 10% discount to market prices 3983 quintals of red gram and 14.05 quintals of soya was procured through MSP centre. It achieved a turnover of Rs. 1,14,00,000 in the year 2019-20.

Ekalavya Foundation has implemented Integrated Water Management Program (IWMP) from 2011-18 in collaboration with SISS in Indervelly Mandal, Adilabad District, Telangana. 249 new ponds were dug and 747 acres of land came under cultivation due to these efforts. 249 farmers who were doing rain fed farming, currently cultivating 2-3 crops per year. “My grandfather and father were cultivating only 1 crop a year and used to migrate for work during summer. With the efforts of Ekalavya Foundation now I’m able to cultivate 6 types of crops, 2 crops a year. My total income increased many fold” – Kotnaka Bhim Rao, Adilabad District, Telangana.
